Text Effects with AE
Artistics Effects (AE) Is a plugin for Paint shop pro and Photoshop wich enables you to add gorgeous effects toyour graphics. I always use AE on my glitters
etc. In this tutorial i'll show you the setting i use for some of my favourite AE effects.
1) Ok first you need the actual plugin, i've made available to download here Download Artistic Effects.zip
TO INSTALL unzip the .zip file and copy the contents of the folder into your paint shop pro plugins folder or your photoshop plugins folder (or both!)
2) Once you've done that open Paint shop pro or photoshop, make a new document any size you want (mine is 500px X 350px) make a new raster layer and with the text tool, type your desired text with your desired colour/font etc. Here's mine...
3) Now for the effects! Below are some examples of the effects and next to them are the properties you need to enter in the Artistic Effects window. note To access AE in Paint Shop Pro go to Effects -> Plugins -> Lokas Software... To access AE in Photoshop go to Filter -> Lokas Software
